7 Habits of Confident Women You Really Need to Know

I’ve often helped women who had really low self-esteem and confidence issues in my role as a coach. They had very low confidence levels.

This was mainly due to the actions and events that had taken place in their lives.

My goal is to help you work on your self-improvement every day so you feel happy and content in your life.

I want you to think and act like confident women.

The thing is, most of us have experienced challenging times in our lives, right? But it doesn’t mean we can’t overcome them and become a better person.

Improving your SELF CONFIDENCE can be challenging for sure… but certainly you can SUCCEED if you follow these habits to leading a better life.

If you want to feel more confident in yourself, you’ll find you have to change your existing habits.

For example, you’ll find how you live your life in general has a lot to do with your chances of success. Confident women know this.

Believe me, it’ll be worth it in the end though, as you’ll improve your personal health, your confidence and your relationship with others.

Going on a personal development journey to increase your self-confidence can make you feel better about yourself and raise your self-esteem.

So, how can you build your own self confidence and follow these 7 habits too!

#1 – Confident Women don’t ignore their principles and values

All too often I’ve seen women change to please other people in their lives.

That type of outlook won’t get you very far, as you’re paying too much attention to other people’s opinions.

You need to follow your own values as they are the strong foundation of your life.

Do NOT Compromise. Confident women follow their instincts and don’t compromise their principles. By doing so, not only will you feel more confident but people will start to respect your opinion and your principles.

#2 – Confident Women take care of themselves

Improving your self confidence is not just about how you think and what’s in your head, it’s also about how you live your life in general.

Eating a healthy diet, getting enough exercise and exercising regularly are simple activities that will keep your energy high.

To achieve success in raising your confidence in yourself may take some effort. Even though it sounds simple enough to do, it could also be one of the toughest things to get into.

After all, without taking care of yourself, how will you be able to take care of your kids or elderly relatives?

Whether you’re just starting on your journey to build your self confidence, or are well down the road and regardless of whether you’re succeeding or failing, you have to set aside time for yourself to rest, relax, and regroup.

#3 – Confident Women get rid of their addictive unhealthy habits

Are you drinking more alcohol than average? Also, if you smoke you’ll find this will affect your health in the long run.

Having any unhealthy addictive habits like drinking or smoking will lower your self-esteem. Confident women have high self-esteem.

Your body should be treated with care and attention. Try getting rid of your bad habits; it can be important to making your life better. Assess your life and what habits you have, and see if there are any that you could work on omitting.

Let’s face it, just following someone else and never really having your OWN opinion won’t get you very far.

#5 – Confident Women know what makes them tick

Have you any idea what makes you tick? Do you have an understanding of your personality.

As a qualified MBTI personality trainer, I have personally experienced how many women have had a ‘light bulb’ moment when they start to understand just what makes them tick. One of the best free personality profiling sites I’ve come across is at Truity it’s full of interesting information on personality.

For example what are your personality preference?

  1. Are you an introvert or extravert?
  2. How do you take in information?
  3. How do you make decisions?
  4. What’s your attitude to life?

They basically follow the Carl Jung approach to personality profiling which is considered to be one of the best in the world.

#6 – Confident Women make each day better

Strive to make each day a bit better than the previous one. Always look for things to improve. Set a goal to do something you couldn’t do yesterday, or improve on something you were able to do.

Get a notebook and keep track of how you improve day by day. Writing things down is always a good habit to get into.

#7 – Confident Women start new hobbies & interests

Just living your life day to day won’t bring you much fulfillment or satisfaction. But learning a new hobby such as learning a language, learning a new craft, taking up salsa dancing, will certainly make you feel good about yourself and your achievements.

The secret to feeling self confident is all connected with the effort YOU put into feeling good about yourself.

In conclusion, it’s also true that confident women keep working at it.  Apply the advice from this article, and you’ll be well on your way to feeling better about yourself for sure.
