That’s right, there are around 57 +million freelance workers in the USA today according to Forbes and around 7.25+ million people in the UK will work in the gig economy in 2022.
There’s never been a better time to become a freelancer or starting one of these side hustles (even if you still have a job) and make a living. You can even start your own business and be your own boss!

1. Selling Your Photos

Here’s the first of our side hustles. Well, I imagine you’ve already got a smartphone, yes? Just think, according to Statista, there are now 6 billion smartphone users in the world today, and this will increase to serval billion in the future.
Wow, so I’m assuming you are part of the 70% of the world’s population who has a smartphone, right? But what if YOU could make money with your hobby by just using your iPhone or Android?
Basically, the secret to getting paid to take photos and make extra money is all down to stock photos. You can make a lot of money if you pay attention to what sells.

2. Affiliate Marketer
Affiliate marketing is one of the quickest ways to make extra money from home. It’s also one of the easiest side hustles to start.
You don’t even need to have your own products to make money and start a business and you can start a side hustle right away.
All you need to do is promote other people’s products or services and they’ll pay you a commission. But… you’ll have to learn the ropes first!
I’ve been creating websites for years, but it wasn’t until 2010 I discovered affiliate marketing.

3. Blogging Side Hustle
Above all, this is a great option if you want to work from home. You can even start a home-based business and make extra money.
Best of all, it doesn’t have to cost hundreds of dollars to get started. Basically, all you need is:
- A domain name, which you can get from Namecheap for just a few dollars a year.
- Get some web hosting space on the Internet to put your files and images.
- I’ve used Bluehost for 15+ years and know they provide good customer service.
- Then install the blogging platform at WordPress.org (DO NOT use the free version of WordPress.com or Blogger.com).
I’ve used all of these companies when I created my first blog years ago and I still have great service from them (that’s why I recommend them!).
