Pasta Siciliano
Delicious, tasty recipe from Sicily. Quick and easy lunch or dinner.
Servings: 8 people
Calories: 430kcal
Ingredients
- 1 packet penne pasta 16 oz
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 cloves chopped garlic
- 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 1/2 cup pine nuts
- 1 can sliced black olives (2.25oz)
- 1/2 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- salt and pepper as required
Instructions
- Bring to boil a large pan of lightly salted water.
- Place penne pasta in the pot, cook for 8 - 10 mins until al-dente and drain.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the garlic until lightly browned.
- Mix in red pepper and lemon juice.
- Stir in the pine nuts, olives and sun dried tomatoes.
