KnittingHelp have loads of free patterns. I have clicked on a few on their free patterns and it looks like a portal site which will link you to the contributors free knitting patterns. They have a very good choice and just in the Women’s Sweater section you’ll find 84 free knitting patterns. Worth a visit.

KnitPicks has lots of free patterns but not that many in the women’s sweater department – but in their free knitting pattern sections they have 675 various free knitting patterns which include hats, cowls, socks, shawls, mittens – so definitely worth a visit.
